The perfect one
gave us the rule
of gold-- and it has
been again given,
in every revelation:
love, compassion,
charity, for stranger,
brother, neighbor,
humanity...
But, in this age of
complex technology
"do unto others,"
though preached
explicitly, under
whatever label
(strict or implied)
looses its original
simplicity.
The rule of Gold,
purely applied,
is simply love
unqualified.
