To ALL mothers and to their children who have now assumed the role of caregivers.

Mother dearest
You hold a special place
Within our hearts
For in our adolescent years
You were always at our side…
Now, the role has reversed
You have become somewhat childlike
And we have assumed the grown-up role
By your side we will steadfast be
Caregiver, as you were to us...
Tender, loving, patient!

It is a unique relationship for sure, but sweet just the same. This tugs at the heart, Lena. How fitting to write such a tribute on your mother's birthday. God bless you and yours, and bring His healing touch to her.

How tenderly you write of this, Lena, and instead of writing of it as a burden you honor your mother in such a beautiful way.

Amen! Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family, precious Lena, believing the LORD to bring your beautiful mother to full recovery.
