I've spent my life writing poetry
From the darker side that dwells in me
A voice which murmurs thoughts in rhyme
Which speaks of life's satire, sublime

From the shadow side of this moon's face
Is the silhoutte devoid of grace
It mostly whispers in painful themes
Of a broken heart's rememberings

So different from my brighter side
The daily face which smiles wide
Whose eyes reflect the mystery
Of the caverness depth at the heart of me

This poem honestly expresses the way you are and I can completely relate. Sometimes I put on my "happy side" for others but I know that my "other side" is just waiting. Nicely done, Sudo Nym. Love and best wishes to you,
