The world’s at war and I have to feed the cats.
Millions die for lack of manure
And I worry about runoff and the price of Kitty Litter.
Friends moan about three dollars a gallon
While guzzling an eight ounce bottle of water for two dollars.
Nobody wants to watch the news:
It’s too depressing- all that violence
But the talk around the cooler is all about CSI
No bodies there!
Our American world.
Murder and mayhem is fine as drama
Who cares about the real world
When we have to get the kids to practice?
