Sacrifices of morbid purity
But my surface thoughts
Clash with the thin mesh struggling
To control thoughts of grandeur
When the braking reality
Jerks me away from hypnotizing
Yellow lines that somehow reflect in the dark
I swerve into the ditch
With intentional determination
To avoid the accidental thoughts
