A gift from God

how a gift from God changed a workaholic

A soul looked down from a cloud one day and said "that's the home for me"

We found a baby coming soon and were suprised as we could be.

He couldn't wait to meet us here so hurried on his way.

And now we celebrate each year the Angel of the day.

I can't imagine what I did before he came to earth.

I never expected to be so excited at a birth.

I look at him each day I'm home and wish for days to come.

I know one day that I'll be gone and he will want someone

to tell him all about his life with the woman who loved him so and how

he changed the life of a woman on the go.

When I became a granmother I lost my other self.

I put all thoughts of anyone else up on a very high shelf.

I knew that God had given me the chance I didn't have

to be with a little child and watch him grow and laugh.

I had to work when my son was young; it was just him and me.

But God has let me live again and very happy be.
