A Modicum of Truth
Perhaps there is a modicum of truth,
In every religion, idea or belief,
Do we lie in the ground awaiting Christ's return,
Or do we go directly to Heaven?
Perhaps our being, our energy, our souls,
Hang out somewhere, in some other form,
Yet, really, what does it matter,
And what could anyone truly know for sure?
"Hope" seems to keep humanity weak,
Waiting on worn out knees,
For God or someone else to take action,
On their behalf for free.
I believe that when we pass on we go to heaven to be with Jesus and our other loved ones that have passed before us. I dont pray and wait for God to take action. I pray that He will direct me so that I many do it if it is His will.

I like to think there is some type of energy left over after we die, not sure if I buy into the whole religious based heaven, purgatory and hell theory but there are endless possibilities so my theory is to live life to the best of my ability and a higher power will decide.
