Days at end
Fiery sky of sunset
Beauty of clouds
Nature lends

Thinking back to times
I could not forget
All the things
Pass through my sight
All the memories
All of the faces
Both day and night
A million different places

All things pass and at some time end
As all things at some time begin
It seems to be
A never-ending trend
That’s the way it’s always been

Just like my life
As things pass by
Some things grow
Others die
When I’m at the end of one page
I turn to the next
And walk out onto the stage

Some of the scenery changes
Some stays the same
Some words life rearranges
Not always fitting in the frame

At times there are things to keep
Others are let go
Following the trend
Some relations are sturdy and deep
Others tend to go
Just like this day
As it comes to an end

All yesterdays slowly fade
into memory past
times of joy and sorrow
present had made
today becomes yesterday
in the mold it’s cast

slowly fade
slowly fade
struggle to remember yesterday
go on to tomorrow
as it becomes today.
