Daddy, catch me so I won't fall,
cried the dainty child
from the garden wall
Her tiny feet perched
precariously
where her daddy's big,
strong hands had placed her.
The girls was not so brave,
but very timid
and very small.
Just jump into my arms, sweet girl;
I love you more than
the whole, wide world!
So she looked into
her daddy's warm eyes
and saw his smile
as he waited for her,
and leaped into his arms
with a giggle and a little twirl.
Our Father watches over all;
He is ready to catch you,
lest you fall.
Though He lead you
thru dark, lonely valleys,
His strong arms are always there,
reaching out,
to keep you close to Him,
and to answer
whenever you call.
