As I Am Looking up into the sky Seeing star they do not lie About life and death, everything For their light a thousand years sing So who I am is nothing strange A man who loves without gauge And measures not the heart of things But listens deep and wills to sing Love ... me as I ... am As I ... love you ... as you are See ... me as I ... am For I ... see you ... as you are Taken then by the hands Bodies close as we stand Knowing that nothings new But this love that's felt me to you And like the stars that tell no lies A fires burns within our eyes That cannot be with any doubt The heart that knows the love that's felt Love ... me as I ... am As I ... love you ... as you are See ... me as I ... am For I ... see you ... as you are Strong and able Very much a dream come true Standing at my side Knowing all and strong in what we're going through Love ... me as I ... am As I ... love you ... as you are See ... me as I ... am For I ... see you ... as you are (C) Richard Hiebner 29/05/2010
