This loveless life I have built Teaches me the beauty Of barren trees and wides expanses In nothing everything takes life The caverns grow wide to hold space In time I will know The sweetness of the fruit Brightness of the stars The heady scent of summer flowers That will all starkly stand bold Giving flesh and color To my desert wandering halfsoul To touch, to taste, to smell, to live again After such a long repose Will make all the world beautifully alive To hunger so deeply makes every meal A lush banquet of delight C. Good and exactly true write, reaching out for your love and knowing you are going to find it. It will be well worth the wait for someone who loves you and trusts you and you can put your trust in them too. Liked this poem very much.
