Everyone Passes

I was alone
Could I find my way home?
From the very beginning
A trail I was a blazing
Burning everything behind me
The bridges
The culverts
The underpasses.

Didn’t matter what they were made of
Steel - Wood – Gold - Sand
A ditch of ashes
Everyone passes.

All roads lead there
Some cobblestone
Some human bone
Where the 12 hills oversee
Where the lookouts will be.

City of Saint’s
City of Sinner’s
Much like the city of angels
They run to their church in the masses.
But the season of Forgiveness has past
Grace gathers the dry dusty wind
Everyone passes.

You are so right. Everyone does. But I haven't gotten there yet, just passing gas for now. ;-)

Life! It is great. Until things start going wrong. You must learn when to fight back and when to let things slide. You must observe what life really is and apply your knowledge when it is necessary. Eh . . . "Everyone passes."
