That is an echoey little thing, isn't it? I love the play on words. But it is about near-sightedness after all... we can't see what is a little distance from us-- reality just out of un-blurred sight... we still see it, but its lines contort--fuzz, and beauty becomes a monster. Behind our closed eyes, we think we see it very well, but we miss the truer vision.
