No Silence Of The Lambs

By the large response of the many "Clicks", I must assume that Billy's Scam (a.k.a. We Are All Lambs) has clicked. In an extraordinary burst of creativity, I have completed the poem. It is not the best rhyme in the world. However, with the proper phrase praise, it could be verse, you know.

             Mary's Lamb

Mary had a little lamb

Its fleece was white as snow

And everywhere that Mary went,

The lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day

Which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,

To see a lamb at school.

And so the teacher turned it out,

But still it lingered near

And waited patiently about,

Till Mary did appear.

“Why does the lamb love Mary so?”

The eager children cry

“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know.”

The teacher did reply.

             Billy's Scam

Billy had a great big scam

That fleeced the public clean.

Now everywhere his software goes,

You can hear the users scream.

He teamed with a farmer pal, you see

Not selling the superior Apple.

What will outsell their better PC?

Billy said, “Why, of course, our crap’ll... “

And so the buddies turned PCs out,

But yet, they sensed some fear,

While waiting patiently about.

Would buyers really appear?

The buyers did appear; and how !

They bought their goods quite well.

And that’s the story of the computer king,

And the farmer, and the Dell.
