In the olden days, the big push was on for sayings such as “early to bed and early to rise makes a person wealthy and wise”. Before alarm clocks, folks used all sorts of wakeup devices. When our country was rural, they used early-rising roosters to do the job. However, folks back then did not have computers. We all know how computers tend to keep a body up longer than anticipated in an attempt to get there “fustest with the mostest.” What is needed now is a way for something to stop the “just a few more minutes” routine. How many times have we all been hunkered down in front of our keyboard, saying “just a few more minutes” and before we know it, it’s 3 a.m.
