a hardy pioneer flower

                                                     Vetch

 

Hardy as upright pioneer women

Wearing hot pink sun bonnets

Rambling over sea side banks

Sending out tangled shoots

Like green tatting.

I know the name and I'm sure I've run across vetch many times… Especially on the seashore, but a picture to go along with the colorful poem would certainly help me visualize.
