a dreamy day

Puget Sound

 

Tender the late day

Water rippling in slowly

Freighters drift by

The beacon on a spit of sand

Pretty as a toy

Red and white

And immense gentle blue

Of water and sky.

Well done Barbara! I lived in Washington State for over 4 years. Breathtaking one day, dreary as a wet noodle the next. South Florida is my kind of weather.
