Just a few thoughts this morning about life, dreams, visions, destiny and help along the way...
My Destination…
Awake in the early morning hours
unsure of the day ahead
or the steps I should take…
thankful for the canvas
that lies before me
for my destiny
is mine to make.
Veering not to the left
nor to the right
I shall stay on this path
straight and narrow
baby steps
lead to leaps and bounds
hope within my grasp
my vision just in sight.
The hurdles I’ve overcome
to reach my destination…
over my shoulder
I glance
to see how far I’ve come
the miles that I have trod
with belief in myself
and faith in Him
I am thankful
thankful… I took a chance.
For I would never have known
had I not taken
that leap of faith
pressed forward
with perseverance
believing always
in that still small voice
and the vision
of a colorful canvas
filled with life
so gentle and clear
through my dreams
I was shown…
Very good Joyce. This is what the journey of life is all about. Taking those baby steps and believing in Him that guides our steps. Some are very fortunate to have taken this path early in life, and others are just now getting there. But it doesn't matter how long or how hard it has taken, the fact is that you are here and that is all that is important. Thank you for this very inspirational write.

This one is full of hope and faith, revealing your step of faith that set you on a fulfilling path. It's interesting how you lead the reader on, step by hopeful step, knowing that you WILL reach your destination.

Yes Joyce, "leap of faith, following your intuition, living in the moment" all things I live and swear by. You my friend have arrived at your destination. You live in the mountains, and have a wonderful job and it sounds like you have found your Nirvana...Can I come and visit? lol, I have missed reading your golden pen, stay awhile and visit and feel the love we all feel for you.
