melody and melancholy
death and despair
she cannot bear
sing a song
hum the tune
but no matter what, he is gone
she cannot bring him back
to be with her
she can only cry to react
it isn’t right
he has to be
the one who comes for her misery
when will it end
I would only guess
when she, too, dies, is all one can comprehend
