Flower
Budding beauty it reaches out,
To touch the sun, as it shouts.
Color’s enhanced as it grows,
A symphony of sort to behold.
Emanates smells, astounding minds,
Fragrance challenge a will to find.
A seed to grow beyond the weeds,
Producing beauty, nature’s liberty set free.

admiration and refinement....and all other feelings that flowers
evoke in us... Your poem, Dear Teresa, brought alive our human
sensible sensitivity to nature...of contemporary times. Thank you.
Have a very...Happy Mother's Day and nice weekend.
With warm regards Isabella.
Unfortunately, today we are genetically engineering flowers to the human taste that will not survive the rigors of nature, nor produce the beauty.
What a lovely poem for a dying breed. I'm watching for the wild ones.
