We must love ourselves even when others don’t

So we can continue to shine our sweetness

If we don’t love ourselves, then everyone else won’t

We must always acknowledge our goodness

Sometimes we’re so busy loving everybody

That we forget that we’re even present

We must pay attention to that special somebody

Or she/he’ll stop to represent

We should thrive to be the best we can be

So we can appreciate the person we truly are

As we continue to grow as high as the highest tree

The possibilities to love ourselves are not too far

We simply need to learn how to share

We need not be selfish

But to ourselves we can try to be fair

By giving ourselves a special wish

With our passions and aspirations we must band

Sometimes we may not give ourselves enough gratitude

With self-love and appreciation we must stand

Regardless of other’s attitude

Let us love ourselves fully and completely

Let’s remind us how special we truly can be

If we can love others fully

Why can’t we also love ourselves freely?

I think we have enough love for us and everyone too

So, let’s share the love fairly

We should divide the big LOVE in two

One share for us and the other share for others, equally
