She walked through the door
His heart lept, his jaw to the floor
She was a vision, a dream he's had since a child
Her presence wasn't strong, nor was it mild
She fit him perfectly
Without effort, easily
He gave a smirk
He watched her eat her dessert
For she wouldn't ever have a sweet so special
Bite by bite he watched her
Bite, bite, bite, she found it
He just knew her answer, they were a perfect fit
He just needed her answer
A second passed for her to take it all in
He stood up and kneeled beside her
She gasped again
