Follow, Honour, Love & Obey

We were taught since we were old enough
to fully understand about God above,
That we must live by the commandments,
If we truly want to love.
If one day when our life here is through,
And we chose to return home,
Then we must learn to follow instructions,
Which are on these slabs of stone.

The Ten Commands, listed as given by Moses.

Ten Commandments of God, listed in order
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet.

He asked that we love and Honour,
Him and the Sabbath day.
That we only use His name,
When it’s used in Respect or to Pray.
He asked that we love and obey,
 Him and our loving family,

The one He gave us so willingly.
He asked that we not lie or steal,
Don’t kill or destroy,
For when we disappoint Him,
It causes Him to Cry.
So He sent His loving Messenger,
To share those commandments alone,
There were Ten for us to follow,
Written on those slabs of stone.
