Lost but not Forgotten

                          A long time ago in another time, 

                          I accepted you as a friend of mine.

                          No matter where my mind travelled to,

                          It seem my friend I thought of you.

                          I wondered where you had gone,
                          Why we lost touch & where I went wrong.

                          Years had gone by, and soon we forget,

                           Although as we think back, there's things I regret.

                            I missed our chats, but the years went by,

                            You followed your steps, but never said good-bye.

                            I hope you were happy with the life you have had,

                            If not I would feel terribly sad.

                            It's been 38 years since I've missed you my friend,

                            But now it's a new beginning, with no end.

                           True friendship last forever, I believe,
                            We can carry on with our chats with happy ease.
