Where Does Time go?

Wow it was just a year ago but it seems,
Like it was yesaterday, where did it go.
Hard to say but as we get older it seems,
The days, weeks and months are shorter.
When I was a kid I always thought,
I always felt the summer was so long.
Today it's just a blink away and 
I wonder where have it gone.
Where does tiume go? 
I remember when a day was 24 hours.
Not anymore don't blink,
One minute you're getting up and 
Then it's time to get ready for bed.
I think to myself, I need more time,
I've got so much do and no time to do it.
Yesterday the kids were so small,
Today they are all grown, on their own.
Where does time go?
I remember when I sang and danced,
Not anymore, don't blink,
Now you sit, read or watch TV.
Yesterday you cooked meals for seven,
Today you're cooking for just two.
It sure makes you think now,
What is it you're going through.
And you ask, where does time go?
Why does the clock turn faster,
with each passing hour.
Have we missed out on things?
Will we ever turn back time?
Really I ask, where does time go?
