My mom passed thirty years ago and I know she is with me all the time. She is in my dreams so often and I catch myself wanting to ask her for advise as though she is there beside me. I love & miss you so much, never leave my side.

You Are Always Here Mom, Though You Are Gone October 6, 2025 By Rose Marie Rideout Thirty years have now gone by, I still wipe the tears that I cry. I feel you are with me all the time, I know it isn't just in my mind. You enter my dreams every night, I know that it is alright. We talk and I hug you so tight, I try to keep you, I try with all my might. I know that I can't but that's okay, As you enter my dream another day. You were so strong in your life, Being the best Mom and wife. Why you had to go we, we could see, For the life you lived in so much misery. You always smiled for us, No matter what for us you would fuss. Oh how we loved you and still today, It just breaks our hearts, you went away. But I feel you with me, I feel your kiss, Something forever I'll always miss. We knew you were tired, your time to go, But it wasn't easy for us, you know. We couldn't ask for you to stay, God knew He had to take you away. You suffered too long, year after year, You stayed strong but we saw each tear. You asked me if it was okay, For you to go this chosen day. I held your hand as I shed a tear, I answered yes, because we all care. We will always cherish the love you gave us, And hope you knew we loved you as much. We'll always talk to you and we'll never forget, The love you gave us without a regret. We know we were blessed to have you Mom, For God knew, with us you belonged. He knew you would raise us to love and care, You helped us through sorrow and fear. Thirthy years have already gone by, Still I wipe the tears that I cry.

Very strong and emotional tribute to your mother. Your closeness shows in every line.

While I remember my mother fondly, she taught me independence at an early age. And letting go as part of our family tradition. So I was pleased when she died and left all that pain she was having for the previous five years behind just before COVID-19 struck in 2020. She had a wonderful long retirement with dad before passing at 95.
