His Wish Trip Was Granted

An innocent little boy, excited,
He's going to a big party being given.
For this special little child,
For the life he has been living.

So many trips to the IWK,
So many questions why?
He had to have Chemo weekly,
Which always made him cry.

He didn't really understand,
Having blood work done again.
It was so terrifying to this little guy,
It caused him so much pain.

He asked his Mom one day,
Will I always be sick this way?
Her eyes filled with up with tears,
She didn't know what to say.

Two days after his surgery,
He once again did say.
Mommy & Daddy what gift do you want,
For me to give you Christmas Day?

The only wish they could want,
They prayed that God would answer today.
Please take away his Cancer Lord,
For a life full off fun to come his way.
