For those who don't always feel like themselves but think they're fine and wonders are they. Some suffer from Depression and PTSD and go through some terrible days. I guess the last verse is where I stood by my husband every day and always will. He has really been doing great with his new treatments.
I Think I'm Fine January 26, 2026 By Rose Marie Rideout I wake up the same every morning I wonder what does this day hold I get dressed and eat breakfast I think I'm fine, but am I really? I sit with my coffee, turn on the news Not too sure of much energy I have Hours pass, I just sit in my chair I think I'm fine, but am I really? I don't want to go through the door Don't want anyone to visit me today Not too sure of anything anymore I think I'm fine, but am I really? There's a feeling, anxiety building What makes me feel this, it's not me I try hard to be happy, to be calm I think I'm fine, but am I really? I get aggrevated, quick to be upset Often hurting the one I love the most I'm sorry, I know tomorrow's a repeat I think I'm fine, but am I really? She loves me and stays by my side Year after year, she loves me more I want to be my old self, where do I turn I think I'm fine, then I ask, am I really?

Ron, I was talking about myself always standing by my husbands side year after year and loving him more and more as he seeks help from his PTSD.

Interesting psychological self-examination. But I'm still trying to fit the last stanza with the rest. I think you may be referring to a female dog�or your alter ego?

While we certainly begin to lose control of our lives as we reach old age, I believe you are referring to menopause that most women can't escape without some irrational behavior that they don't fully understand.

Men have their own, middle age crazy.
