I Believe Spring Has Sprung

I do believe that Spring has sprung,
As I look at everything so green.
The sun is shining so brightly,
The prettiest that I've ever seen.

Hubby got the patio chairs out for me,
So I can sit out and enjoy the day.
Gosh how I pray that this weather stays,
Instead of silently fading away.

Almost time to set up the pool,
So our grandson can smile as he plays.
As he watches Poppy set up his swing set,
To enjoy himself every single day.

We'll soon hear the sound of laughter,
And sing songs oh so loud and clear.
He loves to spend time with us old folks,
We love the time with him that we share.

Yes I do believe that spring has sprung,
As the birds sing around our door.
The sweet fresh air every morning,
Gives me the feeling to do each chore.

Should I plant a beautiful garden,
Or leave the yard it's adorable green.
Yes I do believe that spring has sprung,
It's a beautiful sight to be seen.
