Guidelines for facing the challenges of life
Never Surrender (Authored and recited by Richard Lee Orey) When the perils of life Make you a defender Summon up your courage And never surrender When dark clouds come Bringing wind and rain Clench your fist And conquer the pain You stay strong And never give in Struggle and fight To win, win, win Never surrender Life is filled With lightning and hail Meet it head-on To never fail Stay the course And face the strife Never give up To conquer life Never surrender Worry and stress Are part of a life Challenge and struggle Sharpen your knife Danger and anxiety Are the devil's plot Stand up to evil And worry not Never surrender Whether cancer, diabetes Or the loss of a spouse Sit tall in the saddle Don't act like a mouse Live full and bold And whatever you do Keep God in your heart There's a purpose for you Never surrender When dark clouds come Bringing wind and rain Clench your fist And conquer the pain You stay strong And never give in Struggle and fight To win, win, win Never surrender Never surrender Never surrender

Richard, this is really beautiful. It is an inspirational message that is good any day of the year. It also has a rhythm that would definitely sound great with music set to it. An excellent write!!!
