Love You Strong I am not trying to put our love to a test I just want to put this friendship at a rest I love you hard and I love you deep To continue on the way we are will only cause me to weep Therefore if ever our eyes shall meet I wish ne'r again to speak Sharing these tears of despair would only be in vain Because what we once had can ne'r be recaptured again The mere thought of it ending only causes pain I love you hard and I love you deep It's not to the point of trying to control It's just that in return I wanted to be loved and behold I love you strong knowing deep inside That something with this love was all wrong If ever our paths shall cross or per chance we meet I again wish ne'r to speak Because I love you hard and I love you deep Right now all I feel is defeat

Sad poem, but hopefully you are able to put this love at rest, and get on with your life without even thinking of this lost one.

Love can carve quiet a chasm in our tender hearts dear poet. I feel the emotion of your tender soul. Love can change us and then walk away done.
