On its mountains baa the sheep...
The France you never got to see Has very little ugliness On its mountains baa the sheep In its valleys songbirds cheep. The France you never got to see Still lures us to those Gallic shores From a car one can perceive Happy French folk, birds and bees. The France you sadly never got to see I�m now sure you�ve seen and tasted Just as I harbor every certainty You not one crumb or red drop wasted.

Had a hard time getting to the French poem. Saw it, bypassed it, came back again. Just had to read it today. I long for France and a visit now with your descriptive write. Love French pastries, and some French foods but always can taste more and long to see it. You did us a favor by posting this one. I'll end with this one cause have to eat American corn on cob and burgers, I'm starving. But will be back again soon to the den and you. LOL Lois C
