Old love is still love As a wilted rose is still a flower And a kiss from lips Once free of wrinkles Is still a warm expression The touch of a hand Whose skin now has spots Is still a caring gesture A whisper in the ear-- Sweet and silly nothings-- Makes the whisperer more dear, And gives the listener cheer.

Awe, what a wonderful write my friend! This reminded me of my mamaw and papaw in their final days together, they were still special to each other and still shared so much together, the whispers, a soft kiss on the cheek, even though age and time had taken their toll on them, the love never died! Enjoyed this very touching and gentle write...exceptional!
