To have one’s soul touched
By words that free flow,
Free fall, through time, endless
Time … A treat as such needs
To be held tightly, but no so tight
That it slips through one’s fingers.
To have one’s soul touched, this
Is a true gift of the forces that swirl
Light gases within a nebula in
Deep space. Infinite in its grandness,
This feeling can be, yet it must be
Cultivated like the finest of wines,
The most precious of roses that
Might just within upon the vine.
To have one’s soul touched by someone,
A true gift a person can give another.
