This I actually started writing a few weeks ago ... but only just finished it today.
The wind, with its warm fingers, delicately
caress the face. Her whispers linger there,
speaking in tongues not heard for eons.
This soul who travels along the planes, tis
an old one. Many centuries she has seen.
Yet, back to this place she ventures most,
long lost love calling out. For each incarnation
has sent him here, seeking out her voice,
as the winds carry it, soft and clear.
A soft smile crosses his face as her invisible
fingers caress his cheeks. Lingering breezes
filter through trees, rustling leaves and creating
a shadow dance upon the ground. Her scent
lingers here, amongst the trees that dance. He
inhales deeply and smiles that smile of longing.
Her caresses enchant him in this serence
place of resting.
Like time, their souls are infiinite, spanning the
ages and drawing against the tides. In an
instant, they are one as he spreads his wings
and soars amongst the clouds, carried upon
her warm currents.

This is so beautiful Laura. It's almost biblical in its grace and peacefulness.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Inspirational poetry, written from the heart and soul. Verses that are well-suited for reading on a rainy day and that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
