A dull ache ... that is how it starts, upon waking.
It matters not the trigger, be it weather or stress.
Sometimes, I cannot see, I wander blind without
pain at times ... others, I throb to the point of
insanity.
Give me darkness, I beg and plead. For this is
all I really need, with painkillers, please. Take
away this terrible ache that sears through my
eyes. My head, it feels as if it will explode, pop
if you will. But, in time, this too shall pass. For
it always shall. Just another migraine, something
I've grown accustomed to.

Laura...sooo truly spoken. I've decided they are 'Spiritual happenings' and are asking us to slow down and look within or maybe without...to see if we are 'intune' with our true selves and beliefs. This has really helped me to have 'fewer' or at least one's that are not quite as intense as they once were. Honest and beautifully written piece. Many Blessings, Libby
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
