I am the dirty little secret
that needs to be buried
deep down inside. Hidden
from the world, kept out of
sight, kept away from the light.
I can't turn this off as if some
light switch. This is part of
me and always will be. I hate
this side of me and detest the
rampant emotions that surge
when I cycle.
I'm no light switch!
I cannot just turn myself off
on a whim to suit the needs
of everyone else.
I hate myself and what I am.
No one will ever accept me
this way. I cannot just turn
off my mental instability.
