This thing has been happening all the time, even in Obama and Bill Clinton's eras. Bill Clinton was the one who had passed this bill, and Obama exercised on this. Obama even went as far as to raid families at night while they were sleeping, took their children away. It was all documented in videos. I wonder why there were no outcries of injustice from the left during Bill Clinton and Obama's eras but only comes to surface now when Trump is the president. Trump may not be perfect, but he does and has been trying to correct many things that had been wrong in the Bill Clinton and Obama eras. He is trying to overturn this, but this can't be done overnight when people think it's him who is doing this to the families. So much brainwashing from the media and people only know half-truths and keep barking on the wrong tree. It's really pathetic!
Putting my political beliefs aside, this is a good poem that tells a few of our fellow human's perspective. Great poem. It's achieved its purpose of helping us all see things through another's eyes.

Then once they are across, they abandon these children.
Just like a terrorist uses children as a shield.
These pseudo-parents are NOT always what they seem.
Then there are some parents who have committed serious crimes.
They also know that WE in the USA will shout out in PROTEST if they are separated from their children while placed in jail.
So even some criminals are being temporality reunited now.
Then, of course, there are innocent parents who are locked up for crossing the border and are separated needlessly.
These are now being reunited with families and placed in shelters.
I have lived in military barracks and have been placed in secure bases surrounded by fences. I assure you, these folks and their children are being fed and given medical care that is 110 times better than the countries they came from.
So it is not a SIMPLE problem. We in the USA have compassion. However, how long can we continue to care for so many?
If just ONE illegal family were to pitch a tent and live in your back yard. How long would you take care of them? Then if you did, if 10 more pitched tents your yard because of your compassion, would you be willing to provide food shelter and medicine to them as well?
How about the folks who come here LEGALLY? Is this fair for them?
It's NOT an easy problem to solve. So, in the process, many kids are being USED as posters for POLITICAL reasons. This has GOT TO STOP!
As a parent, I have much compassion for families. As a Christian, I have helped many homeless families. Still, I have limited resources and need to take care of my own before I can over-extend my outreach.
Think about the abandoned teenage kids in the streets of our cities. Have we provided safe places for all of these kids to go? If we did, so many would not be homeless.
So, what is the solution?
If each American would give their time to HELP the kids who are need help this would be a start.
It’s EASY to PROTEST but TOUGHER to PARTICIPATE in the solution.
Let US all be a part of the SOLUTION and NOT part of the problem.
One-by-one, we can all make a POSITIVE difference!

Earlier this year, DHS reported that thousands of children arrived at the U.S. border alone, without their parents. Most of the children came from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, fleeing violence and turmoil in their home countries.

After news reports revealed in May that the U.S. government couldn't account for the locations of nearly 1,500 immigrant children, some people wondered how this could happen.
Then, in June, the "zero tolerance" policy announced by the Trump administration earlier year drew more scrutiny. The Department of Homeland Security said that since it started enforcing this policy, it had separated nearly 2,000 children from adults at the border from mid-April to the end of May.
So, what's going on? As with much to do with the federal government, it's complicated.
There are essentially three policy issues that have become conflated in recent months: separating children from their parents at the border, unaccompanied minors at the border and families seeking asylum. We break down what those issues are and what it all means.
The administration's new 'zero tolerance' policy
The Trump administration announced this year that there would be a "zero tolerance" policy for families trying to cross the border illegally.
"If you cross this border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you. It's that simple," Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in May. "If you smuggle illegal aliens across our border, then we will prosecute you. If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you, and that child will be separated from you as required by law. If you don't like that, then don't smuggle children over our border."
The Trump administration insists that this is not a new policy. Children have long been placed in foster care when their parents were criminally charged with an immigration violation.
"The underlying policies ... have not changed," White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller said in May.
The key difference with the Trump administration compared to previous administrations is that Trump officials are enforcing "zero tolerance," meaning they are prosecuting all adults who are trying to cross the border. This has led to more separations happening; DHS said that 1,995 children had been separated from 1,940 adults from April 19 through May 31. These separations have dominated headlines.
That's a good Nazi trick that the Trumpster is learning from his dictator buddies on the way to genocide. For those who follow him are so afraid of their privileged white supremacy be taken away, not by Mexican gangs, but by hard-working, Christian people that only want to get ahead and find a safe place for their children.
