Entering the world with locks of finely spun gold - the darkest jet - or perhaps soft chestnut,
Beautiful eyes of peaceful blue - shimmering green - tender grey - maybe deep pools of brown,
My nose - your mothers disarming smile,
Soft coo's to melt the most stalwart of hearts,
But above all else loved without any bounds,
Alas we will never know.

One that had before them limitless opportunity - carrier of endless dreams belonging to the ages,
Destined to bring light and hope to mankind - to help them remember love and wisdom,
Avenger of all the just - defiler of the wicked,
Encompassing all with joy - a true gift to the world
Leveling anger and strife - filling the empty spaces with all that is good,
The true st of all the universes treasures - well - at least to me.

The tears in my eyes - the ones that have escaped to run down my checks are not shed for you,
There is no need to cry for one that has never known pain and suffering - despair and longing,
No - they are the selfish tears of the ones that are denied your presence - the ones that suffer the broken promise of you,
Tears for moments not shared - one for each time you were not held and cradled,
For every moment your smile was never witnessed,
A drop from my eye for each bump and scrape that never will be tended to,
Tears for the talks that shall not take place - the advice and counsel that will not be sought,
For the hugs - the hugs that will not be remembered when you are miles away - memories embraced for warmth on cold lonely nights.

Would you have been all that was hoped for you?
Is it possible to consistently feel pride fill ones chest when looking at you?
Do you know that you were and always be cherished?
Your presence has touched more lives than you will ever know,
Loved by so many in such short time - with no effort on your part,
Grieving for your passing that takes parts of me away never to be returned,
The most remarkable person ever to enter and affect my life,
Alas we will never meet.
