Far off the coast of Shadows Reef
Under swells of deadly mist
There lies a Ghostly Galleon
Lost to incredible list

The year was 1540
On All Hallows Eve
When Gauntlet sailed its solemn voyage
From Here to Eternity

For two long days and harrowed nights
Crew, blind and battered at sea
By ferocious winds from the North
And waves as tall as the trees

Captain Main the galleon chief
Stumbled and stood aghast
As Gauntlet slammed the treacherous reef
And men were crushed by its mast

All those aboard the ill fated wreck
Three hundred, or so it is told
Sank beneath the rippling waves
As the vessel dragged them below

Down, down into the black
Icy waters where they drowned
Nevermore would they see
Nevermore would they sound

Years have passed to the day
When Gauntlet vanished
And slipped away
But nightmare waits
For those who are brave

While dead faces fill the skies
And howling winds wallow with cries
At Shadows Reef they shall remain
With the Ghostly Galleon
And its Captain Main
