Restlessness, it plagues me in my bored, yet troubled mind



I seek respite and relief from the troubles that I find



Bare walls, annoy me



Places where color should be



Devoid of what's inside



Feelings that I hide



Impulsively I buy



The mix of colors that I'll try



There's red for angry thoughts



Gold for battles that I've fought.



Blue to match the tears that fall



So many colors to splatter on my wall



Pink reminds me of happy days



Black to mark my gothic phase



Purple describes what I like



Yellow from when I was a tyke



Silver, orange, brown and green



Colors loved when I was a teen



Brush in hand, I paint away



Painting away through all the day



When I'm done, masterpiece complete



Stand back, I think it's sweet



The colors, I mixed them all



Splattered pieces of me up on that wall
