Most hold America dear to their heart, many would love to come to America, is she still holding that flame as bright and shiny, to all?
Simple solutions and simple minds, Over steering to correct wrong turns, Diverted from the norm, Easy solutions them that blinds, Go back in time and see where you failed, Where you started going off the beating track, The many things, you did, not foreigners, Is it, when Lady Liberty you jailed, Would you not admit, it was laws you passed, Ought to have not, Is it not the enemy you fought then? And adopted UN American ideals and standards to your reply, Mc McCarthy ism comes to mind, and others if you asked, Go back, go back and see, those that climbed your walls, Enemies abound in many ways and forms, Not all wear uniforms, easily identifiable, Were then you hiding in your stable stalls? Where were then the Burgers to hold the fort? To defend the laws of the land, your own, The traitors among you, that subverted all, Just to win the struggle from the Hun without, Are there still traitors sending you to battle, To fight the wrong enemies, While your own subvert what is and should be your ideals, Are you like sheep or cattle? Stand on your hind, stand tall and proud, Throw your traitors over to the enemy, Those among you, them that call themselves by your name, Get help, if needed from those that love Lady Liberty,©09/03/2017

A great poem to call all of us to independent thinking again; to be weaned from reacting to everything we hear in a knee-jerk reaction; and to regain a personal judicial temperament of our own. I am pleased with our President's zeal to get us back on course, but I am also aware that he is only a human- Only Jesus Christ is totally fit to rule America and the rest of this world. I like your ability to fit words together to make a needed point, and I hope you continue to hone and develop your craft. Great poem in my opinion.

A cry to the uninformed to beware the wolf in sheep's clothing. It is so easy for sheep to go to slaughter thinking they will be sheared, but only fleeced and then abandoned to die in the street.

Beware of "cost-cutting" and "America first" isolationist simple prescriptions for complex problems. I just read a letter to coal miners from a former coal miner and coal mining job/cost cutting manager. He clearly stated that, in spite of the rhetoric, coal mining jobs are never coming back and have been disappearing for many years in spite of the tradition. Coal mining companies initially imported many immigrants to do the dirty, dangerous and low-paid work that has now become a way of life long gone.

I am from Wisconsin, initially one of the most progressive states in the Union and the source of the Republican Party. Once again like in the 1950s, conservatism in the form of McCarthyism is at foot in the state and the nation. Depicting other countries as enemies rather than allies in solving the world's great problems.

We need to heed your call and throw the scoundrels out.
