A dedication of love to my daughter on the day she was born.

My little Jellybean so full of life
Many years ago on this day, an angelic baby girl so tiny and light was born
God blessed my heart with you
Hair of brown and crystal eyes of true blue
What a gift! A miracle from the beginning, I loved you so
Eager to learn everything, as you sit up and roll around the floor to and fro
To stay a baby forever will never be I’m sad to say. I shall miss these moments every year you turn older and every day. The tiny smiles and messy faces, all the toys you’ve left for me to find in many places. Holding you tight as you sleep on my shoulder, there will never be enough mother-daughter embraces. Every tear your little eyes cry, there I’ll be to wipe them dry. Holding your little hands in play, these memories will never be forgotten along the way. I cannot imagine life without you, giving my world such joy, indeed you do.
Right before my very eyes, you’re growing up so quickly.
As you become a young woman with the world at your feet
The world is your palate. Paint it with your dreams
May music bring you happiness and every lyric make you feel like the melody you are, my dearest Anna, my jellybean, my youngest child, my daughter so sweet . . . .

I love it! I seen my own experience in your poem. My Hannah is now 22 and with a baby of her own. It is all so bittersweet! KEEP INSPIRED...Julia*

Such a beautiful tribute, enjoyed this much...brought back many fond memories for myself as my baby girl was married just a month ago yesterday...still feeling a bit of the empty nest syndrome your write brought sweet memories and tears, enjoyed well written. Glad I stopped by!
Blessings,
