The mad ramblings of a malcontent. What could be more poetic?

I saw the new the other day
and it blew my mind.
There were politicians and lawyers
looking for a country to buy.
What did they hope to gain
with their scurrilous lies?
If they weren't in America,
they'd surely fry.

Things are never so cut and dry
when there are people in the streets looking to die
For a cheap thrill they live in a sty.
No one helps them (they don't want to pry).
When I meet those hypocrites, it makes me sigh.

Stars upon a broken sky.
Whimpered cries when people die.
Saddened sounds of widowed wives,
of orphaned children, party to lies.
Foreign nationals and their spies.
It's all so bad, the heavens cry...
Why?

Why must I go?
Why must I stay?
Why must I cry?
Why must we all die?

So we go on with our sorrowful lives.
The way we live, it's like working a hive.
Why does life go like an ant's day?
Kind-hearted Socialists taking our pay
while richer monks sit and pray
for those they are unwilling to save.
And those who work and stay to pay
all the while asking...

WHY?

Shouldn't it be I saw the news? You have new.
But that aside powerful poem. Why do we die you ask.
Blame it on Adam, Eve and Satan. But God knows what he is doing. Soon it will be "fixed" and we will be a happy forever living world "again." Sorry for the sermon, but I couldn't help it. Happy writing.

Sadly it is what we have all become, an unfortunate legacy to leave, deeply moving...

Be always safe,
Karen
