Buddy is gone

A poem of love of my and Mom's dog that died on February 10, 2008.

He had a gentle soul,
Never biting anyone.

He coat was a golden yellow,
and his tail would wag side
by side when you saw him.

He loved long walks
and would sniff the wind.

He protected us,
every day.

His whole body would wiggle,
side to side,
when you would greet him.

He is loved by all of us
but especially by me.

Please accept my condolences. Animal companions are so faithful and loving, which makes it so hard for us to part company when called to.
