Written: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 at 11:49pm EST, Home in Norfolk, VA. A poem about my view of the future.

I dream the day away,
no sleep, all creation.
Bringing to life
new futures,
new civilizations,
a new world.
Not in some distant galaxy
but right here.

A new Earth
bright and shining,
full of love and joy.
A place of imagination,
brought to life,
of peace and bliss
as now does not exist,
not spread to every crevice
of heart and soul.

You think I sit
in this prison,
trapped,
hopeless
and alone
but I weave
dreams of truth
creeping into every shadow.
Of sleepers
waking from their comas.
Of the heart
lighting the path.
My dreams
grow stronger, more vivid
every day.

Awake from slumber,
cast off your fears
and nightmares,
worries, shame,
hatred, jealousy.
Break free
from your shackles
and dream true ,
dreamers.
Every hope and wish,
each shining thought
a creation.
Where focus goes,
energy flows.
Keep watch.
Keep dreams.
Forever, for all,
they do come true .

Good didactic message within your tight well formed fast flowing rhyme.
Hold on to those dreams!
