Oh, the fickle crowd… celebrities how they adore… Cameras click and journalists break through the door, Flash lights flash, camcorders buzz, proud cleavages heave, False smiles reveal white teeth and cleverly deceive The adoring mob, about the sad emptiness That lies behind the smile and the cool iciness That drives them forth, in search of that elusive fame. They smile, they wave, they swirl, enjoying the acclaim… The fickle crowd…how they adore celebrities… First they create them, with all their absurdities, The glory, the glitter, the stupid hysterics… Then comes the envy, the cold critics and cynics, Going for blood… knives drawn… straight for the jugular… With the blood lust of a demented jaguar, Ready to crucify the already fallen Idol… and throw them to the fickle crowd… broken… Fame… oh that elusive fame… lasts, but just a day… And melts away fast, like the snows of yesterday… © P. I may like some celebs, but I don't worship them, or try not to. For one thing, they don't give a darn about the poor people here, only children or people in developing nations. Well penned!

I refuse to worship celebs. Why? They put their pants on one leg at a time, just like we do. They just can afford to have people dress them. Jealous? Perhaps: would love to see them live on what twin sis and I do - next to nothing. Me thinks they've forgotten they were once 'normal' people. ... well penned, Peter.
