I tried to love you & got slapped down for trying
I tried to mourn for you & got ridiculed for crying
I tried too care for you & got hated in return
Why do I try to get you to care when all I get is burned?
I tried to understand you but, couldn't find the way
I tried to forgive you, I'm still trying even today
I've tried so many things, but nothing ever helped
Why do I try when you have never really cared?
I tried everything a woman could do
I tried everything a child could do
I've tried & tried & then I tried some more
Why do I? I've asked myself, but no more
You've hurt me too many times in the past
You hurt me again but this is the last
My mother you're not, I've chosen another over you
My heart will be whole, despite what you do

i ahve felt this before.but much like this my heart remains whole and complete.
Sometimes the best thing is withdrawal for a time. You can mentally turn her over to God, and let Him take over. Your healing and wellness depend on your relationship with Him. If you put yourself in His hands as a child, He will comfort and guide you. These are the words of Jesus: "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
