The Hardest Thing Leaving, once again. Before the dawn, damp grass awaits the sun. Swollen, sorrowful eyes. Tears glisten on cheeks lit by remorseless street lamps. Urgent embraces reluctantly released. �I have to go.� �I love you.� �Be careful.� �I promise.� Boots and uniforms order into lines and turn away. We have to go.

Carter,
A soldier saying goodbye to his family is always hard. Alot is said between the lines in this poem, Carter. The pain and anquish of watching a soldier walk away, and the turmoil in his heart can be felt here. Amazing poetry!
