Prince Of Air

Who rules this place

 

ye lovers of the sea,

 

that beckons with beauty

 

and challenges so dauntless

 

not to be spoken,

 

luring you with horizons of granduer,

 

spreading wide her thighs

 

with warm promises

 

yet concealing dangers

 

as cold and fearsome

 

as the dead heart of a whore...

 

the fury of her tormented soul

 

yet to be unleashed upon you.

 


Who rules this place

 

all ye lovers of the sea.

 

Could that it be the Prince of Air?

 

Speak, that I might better know

 

your thirst.

When I saw you writing on the deck of a sailboat I knew I had to read this piece first. You have spoken volumes in so few lines. And Neptune may be the one to give answers to your nautical inquiries. Write On!

Ah . . . the encompassing, all-knowing sea. As you said, she is treacherous and evil, but humans have a mighty thirst to conquer her. We haven't even made a scratch in the conquering of the lady-whore.
